The Book of Kells features the synoptic gospels in handwritten Latin script with hundreds of human and animal forms in Celtic decorative motifs. For hundreds of years it was stolen and hidden and buried, dug up and re-stolen but finally it was collected by the Bishop of Ussher. Later it was donated to Trinity College, Dublin, where it remains on display today. We have this coin in antique silver en nickel. All in limited quantity available.
